Changing Account Name and Email Address

When you complete account set up, your name and email are the name and email used during your initial purchase. If you want to transfer to another email address, follow these steps. Please note that Butterfly does not support export or resale of the Butterfly ultrasound probe.

  1. Log into Butterfly Cloud from a desktop browser.
  2. Click your avatar at the top right corner and choose Account Settings.
  3. On the Account Settings page, modify your name in the "Name" field and then click "Change Name" when the button turns from gray to blue.
  4. Click in the email field and enter a new email address. Then, click Change Email. The button will turn from gray to blue when a new email is entered.. Be sure to type it correctly, as this will trigger a confirmation email to the new email address.

A confirmation email will be sent to the new email address. Once accepted and a new password selected, the transfer is complete.

Note that this will not affect your billing information or the email address associated with the original order.
