With the flexibility that bedside ultrasound affords, exams may be uploaded together as one, but need to be split out into multiple for documentation, compliance, and workflow purposes.
Studies can be split, or content can be moved in Butterfly Cloud, or in the Butterfly iQ app.
Note that content can only be split, or moved in a draft study. It is not possible to perform these operations within finalized studies.
To split studies/move content from one study to another in Butterfly Cloud:
-
Navigate to the split icon in the top right of the exam screen within a draft study.
-
If you want to move content from the current study to a new draft, select “New draft.”If you want to move content from the current study to another draft study, select “Existing draft.”
-
On the next screen select the content to be moved. Images and cines can be enlarged by hovering. Tags, and Exam types will not be moved.
-
For a new draft, study author(s), patient information, and archive will be copied over. It can be modified here if you choose prior to the content being moved
-
For an existing draft, study author(s), patient information, and archive will be inherited from the new study.
-
-
Select next and the content will be moved for new drafts. For existing drafts, filter and select the study to move the content to.
